# Plugins

Seit Version `1.8.8`.2 von Chamilo wurden die Plugins-Systeme verbessert und Sie können jetzt Plugins erstellen und aktivieren, die als neue Kurswerkzeuge angezeigt werden. Dies ist der Fall bei einem neuen Plugin namens *BigBlueButton*. Sobald dieses Plugin aktiviert ist, können Sie Ihr Chamilo-Portal mit einem Videokonferenzserver verbinden. Die Installation eines Videokonferenzservers ist jedoch nicht in Chamilo enthalten. Sie müssen es selbst installieren oder einen offiziellen Anbieter bitten, dies für Sie zu tun.

**Hinweis**: Um eine starke Abhängigkeit von den Diensten unserer Anbieter zu vermeiden, haben wir einen Videokonferenzserver ausgewählt, der besonders einfach zu installieren ist (30 Minuten auf einem schnellen und geeigneten Server). Ein solcher Server kann jedoch Probleme auf einer anderen Ebene verursachen: Es ist ein kostspieliger Service, da er ständige Sorgfalt erfordert, um jederzeit verfügbar zu sein, der von engagierten Mitarbeitern überwacht wird. Dies ist einer der Gründe, warum wir es nicht in Chamilo aufnehmen können: Es würde der Einfachheit von Chamilo als eigenständige Plattform einfach nicht standhalten.
