# Crear un directorio

Para lograr unha clara estrutura de almacenamento, Chamilo permiteche crear directorios (cartafols) e subdirectorios facendo clic na icona de cartafol co asterisco amarelo ![](/files/-MFUo4qPJUDDd2SlsNme) .

Para crear un directorio:

* Clic na icona de *Crear cartafol*,
* Introducir o nome do directorio,
* Clic no botón de *Crear a cartafol*,
* O novo directorio foi creado e podes empregalo xa para almacenar novos documentos.

Se queres crear un subdirectorio, abre o directorio onde queres crealo e segue o mesmo procedimento.
