# Maak een back-up

Om veiligheids en procedurele redenen is het raadzaam een reservekopie te maken van de volledige inhoud van uw cursus. Deze procedure is geautomatiseerd. Hiermee kunt u met een paar simpele klikken een volledige back-up of een gedeeltelijke back-up maken, op basis van uw selectie van wat u wilt opslaan. Om een back-up te maken:

* klik op de *Create backup* link in de *Backup en import* sectie ![](/files/-LH9DXhBuF6IP1y8z-O3),
* Selecteer op de volgende pagina of je een volledige kopie wilt of alleen een selectie van elementen (in dat geval moet u ze op de volgende pagina selecteren en op *validate* klikken),
* klik op de knop *Back-up maken* om de procedure te starten.

De back-up wordt ter beschikking gesteld in de vorm van een gecomprimeerd bestand dat u op uw computer kunt downloaden. Het wordt ook opgeslagen op de server voor snel herstel indien nodig.
