# Instellingen voor groepen

Een docent heeft toegang tot de instellingen voor de groep via de werkbalk op de hoofdpagina *Groups*. Klik op het pictogram *Edit instellingen* ![](/files/K20GoIKXQ27Rsh08tdC0) brengt u naar een pagina waar u het aantal groepen kunt beperken waartoe een individuele gebruiker kan behoren, en om standaardinstellingen voor alle groepen te maken, inclusief maximale groepsgrootte, zelfregistratie en toegangsrechten voor alle bijbehorende tools (documenten, agenda, opdrachten, aankondigingen, forum, wiki en chat):

Vergeet niet om onder aan de pagina op de knop Instellingen opslaan te klikken. Deze standaardinstellingen kunnen door de docent voor elke groep worden aangepast met het pictogram *Edit deze groep* ![](/files/jzjwPZjmryPBaMtL9zJT) rechts van elke groepsvermelding op de hoofdpagina.
