# Sociaal netwerk

Chamilo erkent dat effectieve online sociale interactie een belangrijk element is bij succesvol online leren. De sociale netwerkfaciliteit die op het platform wordt aangeboden, is ontworpen om de ondersteuning binnen het platform te optimaliseren voor docenten en leerlingen die gebruik willen maken van verschillende sociale netwerkfuncties als een integraal onderdeel van hun online leer- (en onderwijs) ervaring. Deze omvatten eenvoudige profilering, een intern berichtensysteem dat beschikbaar is voor gebruikers en de mogelijkheid om belangengroepen aan te maken. (Merk op dat sommige van deze functies moeten worden ingeschakeld door de platformbeheerder.)
