Allows you to add a global announcement on the homepage of the portal (and on top of the courses list).

It is possible to choose the visibility of the announcement (by start and end date), the roles which this announcement is meant for, and to send it by e-mail. You can event send it to a social group.

If you want to publish this announcement in the global calendar, just tick the corresponding box.

This tool is particularly useful to send a maintenance, update or terms and conditions change on the portal.
