# Assign a role to a learner

Once the role has been created, you must assign it to a learner:

* click on the *Assign roles* link ![](/files/-LH9CxwEBD4K-YyrVnf1),
* select a learner to assign the role to,
* select the task to be assigned,
* select a date to achieve the objective of the role,
* click the *Validate* button.
