## How Portfolios Work

Each learner has a personal portfolio within the course where they can:

* **Add items** — Upload documents, write text entries, or link to completed work
* **Organize content** — Arrange portfolio items into categories or sections
* **Share selectively** — Control which items are visible to the teacher and peers

## As a Teacher

You can use portfolios for:

* **Reflective learning** — Ask learners to maintain a portfolio of reflections on their learning journey
* **Competency demonstration** — Have learners collect evidence of skills and knowledge
* **Assessment** — Review portfolio contents as part of your evaluation

To view a learner's portfolio, access the portfolio tool and navigate to the learner's submissions.
