Analytics

The Analytics block on the administration dashboard groups platform-wide statistics, learning analytics, corporate/HR reporting, and bulk export tools. Depending on your Chamilo version, this block may be labeled "Tracking" on the dashboard itself — it's the same block either way. This guide calls it Analytics throughout to avoid confusion with Tracking Settings, the separate settings category that controls what gets recorded rather than the reports themselves.

Accessing Analytics

From the administration panel, the Analytics block appears alongside the other dashboard blocks. Click any of its links to open the corresponding report.

What's in the Block

  • Global Statistics — Platform-wide statistics: courses, users, logins, sessions, and disk usage

  • Reports Catalog — Browse every registered report, who can access it, and why

  • Learning Analytics — The classic tracking dashboard: user, course, and session drill-downs with time-spent and score averages

  • Corporate Reports — Quarterly summaries, teacher time tracking, and HR-oriented course/user reporting

  • Tickets — Jump straight to the support ticket list

Who Can Access It

Most of these reports require Portal Administrator access. The Corporate Report is the exception — it is also open to Human Resources Manager and Student Boss roles, since it's built for that audience specifically.
