Rooms

The Rooms block on the administration dashboard manages the physical locations Chamilo can track for in-person or blended training: branches (sites), the rooms within them, and a tool to find which rooms are free at a given time.

Accessing the Rooms Block

From the administration panel, the Rooms block appears alongside the other dashboard blocks. Click any of its links to open the corresponding tool.

What's in the Block

• Managing Rooms — Create and organize branches (sites), and the rooms within each one

• Room Availability Finder — Check which rooms are free for a given date and time range

Multi-URL Note

On a multi-URL (multi-tenant) install, branches and rooms are scoped to a single access URL each — they are never shared across portals.
