Learning Calendar

Learning Calendar Learning Calendar helps plan blended or apprenticeship-style training that mixes classroom time with off-site practice. You build a calendar marking each day as Busy, Exam, or Free, assign learners to it, and their personal agenda then shows those planned days.

Accessing the Tool

Once enabled, a Learning calendar icon appears in My Space (your reporting area). It opens a list of calendars you've created, with options to add, edit, copy, delete, and assign learners to each one.

Building a Calendar

  1. Create a new calendar

  2. Click a day to cycle it through Busy → Exam → Free → clear

  3. Assign the learners who should follow this calendar

Assigned learners see their planned days on their own agenda, and reporting compares planned days against their actual learning-path completion.

Tips

  • One calendar per learner at a time — A learner can only be assigned to a single calendar, so plan around cohorts rather than trying to layer multiple calendars on one person

  • This is an early-stage feature — It's independent of any single course, so don't expect the same polish as core Chamilo tools; verify it fits your training format before relying on it for a real cohort
