Survey Export CSV

Survey Export CSV adds a one-click export of a survey's results to a compact CSV file, with one row per respondent and one column per question.

Exporting a Survey

Once enabled, your course's Survey tool list gets an Export column with a CSV icon on each survey row. Click it to download the results immediately — no extra steps.

What's in the File

• Anonymous surveys are exported without identity columns

• Non-anonymous surveys include the respondent's identity alongside their answers

• Whether incomplete (unfinished) responses are included is controlled by your administrator, not from this export button

Tips

• Large surveys may take a moment — Very large response sets can be slower to export; this is a database performance consideration your administrator can tune if needed

• Combine with Survey Export TXT — If you also have the Survey Export TXT plugin enabled, you'll see two export icons; pick whichever format suits how you plan to use the data
