Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://docs.chamilo.org/teacher-guide/teacher-guide/plugins/lti-1-3-advantage-provider.md). # LTI 1.3 Advantage Provider LTI 1.3 Advantage Provider LTI 1.3 Advantage Provider works the other way around from [IMS/LTI Client](/teacher-guide/teacher-guide/plugins/ims-lti.md): instead of Chamilo launching an external tool, it lets an **external LMS** (for example, a different Chamilo portal, or another platform like Moodle) launch one of your exercises or learning paths as if it were a tool inside that other system, with grades passed back to Chamilo. ## What This Means for You There is nothing to configure here as a teacher. Your administrator registers which of your exercises or learning paths can be launched this way, and by which external platforms, entirely from **Administration > LTI 1.3 Advantage Provider**. If your platform uses this plugin, it simply means some of your students might reach one of your exercises or learning paths by clicking a link from a different system, rather than logging into Chamilo directly — the experience of taking the exercise or learning path itself doesn't change. ## Tips * **Ask your administrator if you're curious** — If you want to know whether any of your content is exposed this way, your administrator can tell you which activities are registered
