# Roles management

From the *Roles management* page you can create detailed tasks of a project step or assign roles to the members of a project.

To create a new task/role:

* click the *Add a new role* icon ![](https://748165138-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-legacy-files/o/assets%2F-LH9CCYPqjHw1VKNcuiq%2F-LH9CGn0ncN_3G09lrQH%2F-LH9D8C8m2guj0sWTwcI%2Fgraphics313.gif?generation=1531327448150056\&alt=media),
* give the role a title, description and assign permissions,
* choose a color using to the drop-down bar,
* click *Save.*
